We asked some of our daycare parents one question. What is the biggest impact that i-Play has had on your child? These are some of their answers.

"I can’t say enough good things about I-play. Before coming to I-play our son was very shy and had no interest in participating in any group activity. Since then we can’t get him to come home at the end of the day. His self-confidence has grown so much and is now comfortable to join group activities without hesitation. "

"I-Play is teaching our children how to deal with life lessons / situations and be held accountable for their actions. Making them realize they make their own choices – how to deal with their choices and either be rewarded for the behavior or understand the consequences of their choices. If there are situations between friends – you have taught them how to try and work out their problems, to consider others feelings. There are so many good things I can say about I-Play but in a Nut Shell – You know your children are in a safe and happy environment when you tried to pick them up early and they either cry to stay or ask you to come back later to pick them up. The staff at I-Play are wonderful and it was the best decision we could have made as parents for our children. "

"My son never complains about having to go to I-Play! He loves it there! So I feel good knowing he is having fun playing all sorts of sports after school.” When I asked Jonathan why he likes going to I-Play, he said: “Because it’s fun!” I-Play is a great program for kids who like to (and need to) move and have fun!"

"For my son, I-Play has greatly improved his gross motor skills. This is something he has struggled with from a very young age. He is dyslexic, and balance is an issue. I-Play has improved his balance significantly. For my other boy, I-Play has brought him from a shy little boy stuck to his mom’s leg, to the outgoing, confident young man. He loves sports, and most days hates leaving I-Play. There is no better place for him than at I-Play. So I guess the impacts on them are : confidence, skill, balance, relationships, consistency (esp with staff.... A-1) For all that you do, a huge thank you !!! "

"We have noticed a huge change in our son's self esteem, confidence and leadership since joining iplay. "

"Our kids joined the i-play group mid June 2014 and they have to this day come home everyday telling us all about what they have learned, who they were paired up with, how to play a certain game. etc. They are having such a great time at i-play and the staff are exceptional. It is such a comforting feeling knowing that our twins are safe and happy with the staff employed at i-play. The biggest impact that i-play has had on our twins is the fact that they teach them the value of friendship and how to treat everybody the same, regardless of their individual strengths and weaknesses. It is a great place to learn and grow not just by size by attitude also. "

"The biggest impact that I-play has had on our son has been the introduction to a variety of sports he may not have tried had it not been for attending I-play. The coaching staff at I-play make it fun while teaching the fundamentals of the sport to the child. We would highly recommend I-play Athletics program to anyone looking for after school program and summer day camp that promotes being physically active. "

"I have 2 kids enrolled in IPLAY and I am extremely happy with the Program. The biggest impact Iplay has had on my children, has been their growth in self esteem. By meeting new kids in a sports environment and attempting new skills while having FUN is clearly the best way to spend a few hours after school. The Coaches do a great job of providing encouragement and structure to ensure the best atmosphere for all. "

"I-Play has changed my 6 year olds life! After sitting in school for the better part of the day, arriving at I-Play is a tremendous treat! From the physical activites, interaction amungst other children, team building...she absolutely loves it there! She is completely exhausted at the end of the day! On weekends she asks if she can go play there and if I tell her I’m picking her up early, she says no because she loves playing with everyone and in her words, calls it, “AWESOME”. The staff is absolutley wonderful! Great communication, fun activities and there hasn’t been a time that I’ve entered there where everyone wasn’t smiling and friendly! "

"With today’s world of both parents working, it’s near impossible for us to get our kids the 60 minutes a day of physical activity they need. This is where i-Play comes in. Not only are the kids active, but they are taught a wide variety of sports skills and the message of “having fun” is always a primary goal! "

"The biggest impact I-Play has had on my child is the exposure of a diversity of sports and learning life lessons. While playing, the coaches at have taught my child : teamwork, fairplay, honesty, adhering to rules and respecting others. Learning and having fun at the same time!"

Lynn Arsenault

"The biggest impact that iPlay has had on my son is knowing what it means to play fair. Realizing that its ok to not be the best at a sport, to not win first place, and that you have to play by the rules has resulted in better family game nights at home. Thanks iPlay!! "
